Mobile application for the possibility of tracking working time with an integrated internal currency.

Problems

  1. In many companies where regular "Blue-collar" workers are employed, there is often a lack of access and capability to track the expended work hours among their employees.

  2. For ordinary workers, apart from their salary, there is no external motivation to work for longer durations and more diligently.

Process:

1.User Flow

For this case, a foundational user journey was established based on the information provided by the client. This allowed showcasing how a potential user can perform various actions within the application.

2.Wireframes

After confirming the User Flows and transitions, I proceeded to develop the Wireframes. At this stage, I create the initial structure, visualizing the placement of elements and navigation. This is a kind of rough sketch that lays the foundation for the future design. Here, every line and area have their purpose, with a focus on ensuring usability.

3.Creating Styles and Components

The process of creating styles and design components during application development had specific goals, such as providing developers with all the necessary set of states, colors, component styles, and ensuring a consistent and vibrant visual experience for users. Through the creation of unique styles and components, my aim was to make the interface intuitive, user-friendly, and enjoyable to use.

4.UI Design and Solutions

Tracking Time

Users are provided with the ability to track their work hours literally in a few clicks, making the user experience highly convenient and fast. However, it's worth noting that at this stage of the application, editing hours after time tracking is not available. Editing can only be carried out by managers.

Accumulation and sending of internal currency

In order to provide workers with more motivation to work and accurately track their time, a functionality for accumulating internal currency has been implemented. Under this system, for each working hour,

the user receives 1 unit of currency, which they can then transfer to their colleagues and receive from them.

Mining, Bonus, Transfer screens

Each specific action is associated with a distinct screen containing information and confirmation.

Reward system and reward store.

To further motivate employees to accurately track their time and engage actively, we've introduced a rewards section. In this section, users can unlock specific rewards for various achievements. Subsequently, these rewards can be exchanged for internal currency, which can then be used to acquire real items.
